In the music industry, a record label is a company associated with the marketing of music recordings and music videos. They vary in size , smaller companies are labled as "Independent" or "indie", or they may be part of a largeer internation company; or somewhere in between. Major labels are the largest 4 record labels. A sublabe is a label that is part of a larger record company, but it uses a different name.
